2024 Ignis Tempranillo – Vibrant McLaren Vale Red Wine
Tempranillo is Spain's great black grape, the backbone of Rioja and Ribera del Duero. Its name comes from the Spanish temprano, meaning early, for the way it ripens ahead of other varieties. Ours is medium-bodied and made to drink young, all bright red fruit and energy over a fine, chalky grip. Look for raspberry and cherry, violet and thyme, with a lift of toasted spice and a savoury edge of leather and cola.
